All Rodolfo Valentin hairpieces and accessories are made of real European hair, which has never been chemically treated and come in a wide range of colors including varied shades of blonde, as well as brunette and red hues. They can be customized to match the client's hair color, texture or to achieve the effect of multidimensional color.

Not all hair has the potential for use in quality hairpieces. Rodolfo Valentin makes periodic trips abroad to personally select the hair he uses, selectively choosing the hair, which fits his requirements in various price categories.

He entitles those trips as "hunting for hair"...

Types of hair

Light hair comes from Sweden, Switzerland, Germany and Russia, while dark hair is from Spain, Italy and Greece. The longer the hair, the lighter is the color, and so the higher is the price.

A true perfectionist, Rodolfo Valentin stresses the importance of using "Remy hair" for top quality hairpieces. [Remy] is a technical term, it refers to hair that, after cutting, is carefully wrapped to avoid mixing ends with roots, and to insure that hair cuticle all run the same direction. This precludes tangling; it also allows the piece to be treated in the same way, as the wearer's own i.e. coloring or permanents.
